Vibration dampers

Vibration dampers are fitted in almost all running gear and are intended to absorb shocks and vibration.

They are necessary to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. The dampers are installed either vertically or horizontally, the only difference is the valves inside the shock absorber.
Along with the usage in railway rolling stock, our vibration dampers can also be used in other applications, e.g. as specials for bridge building, in washing machines or coal mills.
